Vegetable Oil-Insulated Transformer
TSEA vegetable oil–insulated transformers are designed for transmission and distribution applications requiring reduced environmental risk and enhanced fire safety performance.
Developed with in-house engineering, the design incorporates biodegradable insulating fluid with a high fire point, while maintaining dielectric and thermal performance in accordance with defined technical requirements.
Each project is configured to comply with applicable IEC, IEEE, ABNT, and environmental standards.
Vegetable oil replaces conventional mineral oil while preserving required electrical and thermal characteristics.
Key characteristics include:
- Reduced environmental exposure in case of leakage
- Elevated fire point compared to mineral oil
- Dielectric performance suitable for continuous operation
This insulation approach is particularly suited for installations in urban substations, environmentally sensitive areas, and locations with defined fire safety requirements.
- Distribution networks
- Urban substations
- Installations near environmentally sensitive areas
- Projects with defined environmental compliance requirements
The insulation system is engineered to support:
- Thermal operation within defined limits
- Electrical performance according to project specifications
- Compliance with applicable technical and environmental standards
Engineering parameters are defined based on load profile, system requirements, and environmental conditions.
